I test drove one a while ago, and I found that I was too tall for it (I am 6′3″). The whole time I was driving, I had to keep my head bent to one side. About the options, I would not buy one loaded, but if you are going to spend the money, you might as well get one with the AWD, and everything else you want.
If you can deal with a manual trans, only front wheel drive, a rough ride, and tons of torque steer, then get the SRT4.
live in g/f has an 07 sxt. she loves it. i have put about 1000 miles on it myself, plus work for a dodge dealership. i like the car, it fits nicely. i am 5-10 and not headroom probs like the taller guy. the CVT takes a bit of getting used to, but otherwise very problem free and fun.
i do prefer my neon though…
